It is polyethylene plastic, the most basic plastic, used in plastic bags and plastic wrap. It is a highly crystalline, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The original appearance is milky white, and is translucent to a certain extent in thin sections. It has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals.
